HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL SCORES

EUFAULA 11, MORRIS 2 — Jaxon Lange led Eufaula (1-0) as he finished with three hits in four plate appearances. He had a triple and two singles.

CASCIA HALL 11, HASKELL 0 — Lucas King had one of Haskell’s only two hits as the Haymakers (0-1) dropped their season opener. Brady Neal took the loss on the mound as he gave up 10 runs, five of them earned.

WAGONER 13, INOLA 4 — Wagoner took its first lead, 5-4 in the bottom of the second inning and cruised to the win. The Bulldogs (1-0) were led by Keyton Cole who went 2-for-3 and drove in four runs. Carson Klinger, with three RBIs, also went 2-for-3. Eli Hopping had two hits and brought in a run and Kale Charboneau finished with a pair of RBIs. Kolby Gardenhire earned the win on the mound going all five innings.

PORTER THREE-WAY — Mattix Kilgore drove in five runs on two hits as Porter beat Haileyville, 15-5. Kilgore had a two-run double in the first inning followed by a tworun home run to left field in the second. He also brought in a run as he walked in the third. In the nightcap, the Pirates (6-1) defeated Summit Christian 12-3. Tyler Durrett went 2-for-3 with a leadoff home run and Jesse Reeves added two hits.

PORUM 11, WETUMKA 1 — Porum took a 3-0 lead in the first inning as Cooper Franklin grounded out, Rylind Tillery walked and Caden Robinson was hit by a pitch. The Pirates (1-0), who only had two hits for the game, scored eight runs in the third inning to finalize the game. Gage Scarberry was the winning pitcher as he went three innings of no hit ball and struck out five. Isaiah Sallee registered the save and Franklin finished with a trio of RBIs.

SUMMIT CHRISTIAN 16, PORTER 15 — Carson Bindrum went 3-for-3 and scored five runs in the losing effort to lead Porter (4-1). Landyn Smith added two hits, one of them a double, and scored three runs.

WEBBERS FALLS 12, BOKOSHE 0 — Webbers Falls cruised to the threeinning win as it was helped by 10 Bokoshe errors. Elliot Kunkel led the Warriors (1-0) at the plate with two hits, an RBI and two runs while Maddox Shelby brought home two runs and scored three times. Ben Ward had three RBIs and Luke Peirce had two. Stryker Chappell earned the victory as he pitched a no-hitter and struck out six.
