Happy endings for three pups in pound

Happy endings for three pups in pound

Paws N Claws – Eufaula helped with three adoptions last week from the Eufaula pound. These puppies would’ve been put down after ten days but caring and concerned citizens stepped up to create three happy endings as three fur babies found their fur-ever homes instead.

The 2-year-old pit mix boy pup went to a home in Bixby and his new family is thrilled as he has been fitting right in with their other two dogs and their young children. He has been named Zeus and has a huge yard to run and play in and also come inside when he’s ready for a long nap.

The other two pups were rat terrier/ Jack Russel mixes and went to two other homes in the Longtown area. They have been named Chase and Sweetie.

Another pup named Boomer was also adopted out but didn’t have to go to the pound.

Paws N Claws is a local volunteer group working diligently to make a difference in McIntosh County and bring awareness to abandoned animals.

“Thank you all for sharing our post and helping us get the word out and find homes for these sweet souls,” Lori Powell-Fells said. “We want to say thank you to Bobby Rhodes who helped transport these pups and a special thanks to foster dog parents, Brad Shropshire and Eric Getty, for helping to sponsor these adoptions as well. We couldn’t do it without you guys.”

If you would like to help sponsor pound pup adoptions or volunteer as a foster, please call Lori at 918-618-3810 or LaDonna at 479-4224210.
