The coaching carousel continues to spin in McIntosh County. Checotah fast-pitch softball coach as Kory Bible has resigned his position to become the assistant at Muskogee High School. Bible was hired just last year as the Lady Wildcats head coach. Prior to Checotah, Bible was the head coach at Warner.

Checotah assistant girls basketball coach Zane Oldham has been moved from High School to the Junior High program.

Eufaula Public Schools has seen their share of coaches leaving. Assistant football coach Ethan Sharp has resigned his position to take an assistant’s job at Byng. Eufau- la head girls basketball coach Nick Yarbrough has resigned his position to take the head-coaching job at Westville.

Wade Coach was hired as a new assistant football coach at Eufaula.

“We are fortunate to be able to add someone with Coach’s experience. He has coached here before and knows the Ironhead culture and what we expect. Happy to have him on staff,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.
