The Green Country Cattlewomen Association has chosen Baylee Smith as their scholarship recipient.

Baylee is the daughter Kevin and Julie Smith. She graduated from Oktaha High School in 2024 and is now a freshman at Connors State College. Baylee was a member of Oktaha FFA for five years and Oktaha 4-H for six years.

She started showing cattle at the tender age of 13. Hereford heifers were her first cattle to show. The last two years she has shown Limousin.

Baylee has been a member of the following:

• Oklahoma Limousin Association

• North American Limousin Junior Association

• Green Country Cattlewomen

• Oklahoma Cattlewomen

• Oklahoma Junior Hereford Association

• Oklahoma Hereford Association

• American Hereford Association

Baylee has also been the Oklahoma Hereford Princess from 2020 to 2022 and she has been on the Oklahoma Hereford Junior Board from 2019 to 2022.

Baylee has shown so many livestock shows, to include county, state and even national levels and she plans to continue to show at national level as long as she can.
