Area angler Brian Young places 3rd in Tournament

Well tournament fishing for Brian Young started at Crappie USA Tournament Trail 25 years ago on Eufaula. Young jumped in this tournament and pulled off 3rd place in the Pro division. Also caught the big fish at 2.52 he chased for 20 minutes before she bit.

“Windy today you had to be very resilient and very patient with these fish.

Lake Eufaula amazes me with the amount of quality fish in it from the North end to the South end. Everyone get ready for next spring there’s going to be some big ole crappie caught. In my opinion, it is the best lake in the nation. Congratulations to Joey Cook and Mike Humphries on the win today,” Brian Young said
