Sixth annual BARKtoberfest welcomes all

Family and dog friendly event has something for everyone

Porches & Pastures will host the 6th annual BARKtoberfest next Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11a.m. – 4p.m. at their location, 114375 N. Old Highway 69 in Eufaula. The event is designed to bring the community together for a day of fun celebrating our 4-legged friends, while shining the spotlight on pet adoption and animal welfare.

Admission is FREE and tickets will be available for purchase for carnival games with all proceeds benefiting Porches for Pups. You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

Here is everything you need to know about the event: – Facebook Event Page: https://www.facebook. com/share/1yo6nkBCneCviFh6/ – Live Music – Featuring Shiloh & Going 4 Broke – Food Trucks – Smitty’s Smokehouse, Magnolia Street Bar Co., Henri’s Mini Donuts, Chef Easton’s, Smitty’s Seafood Cabana and more – Beer Garden – Highway Liquor from Okemah (proceeds of beer pours go to Porches for Pups) – Kid Zone – Complete with bounce houses, pumpkin patch, carnival games, train rides, axe throwing and more – Costume Contests – Don’t forget the costumes for you and your pets. Registration is FREE. Prizes will be awarded in several categories.

– Pet Adoptions – Multiple rescue organizations will be on-site with animals waiting for their forever home. Adoption kits will be provided by Porches for Pups.

– Dog Biscuit Eating Contest – Enter your furry friend to beat all the competition by eating the most dog biscuits in the fastest time. Registration is FREE. Prizes will be awarded.

– Silent Auction – Be sure to check the Porches & Pastures Facebook page prior to the event for a complete list of featured items, including overnight stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa and more. There will be a virtual auction available prior to the event and a silent auction during the event. Check Porches & Pastures Facebook page for details.

– Doggie Cake Walk – Grab your furry friend and join in the cakewalk fun to try to win some yummy, homemade treats.

– Event T-Shirts – BARKtoberfest 2024 t-shirt orders can be placed at the event and limited quantities will be available for purchase at the event.
