Mark Hobson Mitchell

A proud graduate of the class of 1978 at Checotah High School, Mark was a standout in football and an active and award-winning member of the FFA. He dedicated much of his career to roofing and pipeline work, fields where he developed several friendships. He also served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.

Mark married Jama Roller Mitchell in Muskogee in 1988. The pair shared many happy memories. They called Wichita, Kansas, their home for many years and enjoyed the commu- Dec. 19, 1959 – Oct. 20, 2024

Preceded in death by his parents, Mark is survived by his eight brothers and sisters including James Mitchell Jr., Mike and Pam Mitchell, Michelle (Missy) and Lee Harder, Patrick Mitchell, Chris and Audrey Mitchell, Ed and Shannon Mitchell, Maria and Jared Smith, and John and Ginger Mitchell.
