OSSAA sets football semifinal sites and times

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association announced on Saturday all the sites and times for the semifinals that will be spread over the next two weeks.

The Class 6A II semifinals will be at separate sites Friday. Top-ranked and defending champion Muskogee (11-0) meets No. 3 Stillwater (9-2) at 7 p.m. at Catoosa in a rematch of last year’s title game after No. 4 Sand Springs (8-3) meets No. 2 Choctaw (9-2) at 1 p.m. at Wagoner.

Wagoner will host a split-class doubleheader as it also will be the site of the 2AII matchup between No. 5 Colcord (111) and No. 2 Vian (12-0) at 7 p.m.

In 3A, top-ranked Lincoln Christian (12-0) will face No. 2 Heritage Hall (11-1) at Prague while No. 3 Sulphur (111) meets No. 8 Checotah (8-4) at Moore. Both of those games are at 7 p.m. In 2AI, the marquee matchup is No. 2 Metro Christian (12-0) against No. 1 Washington (120) at 7 p.m. at Harrah. In 2AII, top-ranked Stroud (12-0) meets No. 6 Davis (8-4) at 1 p.m. at Noble.

In Class B, No. 4 Dewar (10-1) will face No. 6 Hollis (9-2) at 7 p.m. at Alex.

Half of the semifinals will be played Friday and the other half on Dec. 6.

The Dec. 6 semifinal lineup, with all games starting at 7 p.m., includes 4A No. 1 Wagoner (12-0) facing No. 2 Elgin (12-0) at East Central University.

In Class AI, topranked Rejoice Christian (11-1) plays No. 8 Christian Heritage (93) at Beggs while No. 2 Hooker (11-1) meets No. 5 Pawnee (9-3) at Northwestern State.

In AII, No. 3 Regent Prep (11-1) plays No. 1 Woodland (12-0) at Catoosa while No. 4 Thomas (11-1) faces No. 6 Talihina (11-1) at Harrah.
