With winter gently knocking on the door, we celebrated Thanksgiving.
Our hostesses, Georgia Small, Kit Lund and Jeannie Russell, did a beautiful job of decorating in fall colors and, of course, turkeys. The door prizes were fun and lovely Christmas decorations.
Maureen McCracken took time from her very busy life to sing us into the past. Maureen works full time as a ranch hand on Tom Shroyer’s ranch. He happens to be her uncle, so it is really a family affair.
Maureen sang Wayward Wind, Blue Bayou, You Belong to Me, Dream A Little Dream of Me and ended with a perky King of the Road.
If you get a chance to hear her, she does sing like an angel.
