Wildcats and Ironheads to play in tournaments January 9

The Checotah Wildcats and Eufaula Ironheads will compete in two different basketball tournaments starting on January 9. Eufaula will travel to Warner for the 7th Annual Warner Eagle Cherokee Classic. The Checotah Wildcats will travel to Henryetta for the Henryetta Basketball Tournament.

Eufaula boys team are ranked 19th and will try to keep their win streak up while the Lady Ironheads will continue to put some more wins in the column.

The Checotah Wildfrom cats are coming off a win over in-county rival Eufaula and continue to play at a high level. The Checotah boys team looks forward to the challenges at Henryetta. See both brackets in this week’s edition.
