DEATH NOTICES

WARNER – Jerry Wayne Polumbus, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home in Warner, OK. Funeral services were held Friday, January 17, 2025 at Lescher Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee.

MUSKOGEE – Wanda Hollaway, 95, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2025. Funeral services were held January 17 at First Baptist Church in Okay, OK.

CHECOTAH – Deloyce (Dee) Louise Roberts, 83, went to be with Jesus Monday, January 13, 2025 at her home in Checotah, OK. Funeral Services were held on Friday, January 17, at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel.

MUSKOGEE – Sheree Lynn (Clare) Booth, 69, passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2025 in Muskogee, OK. No services scheduled.

CHECOTAH – James Bruce “Tumbleweed” Roberts, 65, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025. Funeral Services were held Friday, January 17 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Jaqueline Marie Miller, 74, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025. No services scheduled at this time.

HANNA – Amy Sue Harjo, 56, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Tulsa, OK. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 21 at the Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna, OK.

OKTAHA – Walter “Junior” Leroy Hough III, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Muskogee, OK. Funeral services will be held January 23 at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee, OK.

MUSKOGEE – Cathryn Faye Blackwell passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 96. A graveside service will be held January 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK.

CHECOTAH – Ruth Smallwood passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at the age of 75. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 23 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Checotah, OK.

CHECOTAH – Bertha Mae Whisenhunt, 89, entered her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 17, 2025. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Lawrence (Rex) Rexroat, 79, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 in Muskogee, OK. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1 at First Baptist Church in Eufaula.
