The Lady Wildcats outscored Hilldale 10-8 in the first period as Madewell scored three three-point buckets and Jazlyn Atkins added a point. The Lady Hornets came back in the second period with strong play on the baseline and from the perimeter as Nail scored five of her 15 points. Checotah was limited in the second period offensively as Ruthy Folkner, Sidney Hamilton and Madewell each added a score to go into the halftime break 18-16 in favor of the Hornets.

Checotah out scored Hilldale 11-8 in the third period as Folkner hit a long threepointer and Madewell hit two. Defensively Checotah put pressure on the Lady Hornets and forced turnovers but failed to capitalize on them.

Hilldale limited Checotah from scoring in the paint as they only allowed two Checotah players to score in the fourth period in Hamilton and Madewell.

Madewell led Checotah with 19 points, Atkins seven points, Ruthy Folkner five points and Hamilton added four points.
