DEATH NOTICES

EUFAULA – Suzanna Jo Franklin, 72, peacefully passed away at her home in Eufaula, OK, on March 30, 2025. A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 8 at Hanna Indian Community Center.

CHECOTAH – Wilma C. (Every) Garrison, 96, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025. A service to celebrate Wilma’s life was held on Monday, April 7 at Hunn Funeral Home in Checotah, OK.

JENKS – Avalynn Lorane Cantrell, formerly a resident of Henryetta, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 18. Funeral services were held Monday, April 7 at Integrity Funeral Chapel.

MUSKOGEE – Theresa Yvonne Hardee, 55, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. A Serenity Chapel Service was held Thursday, April 3 at Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

WARNER – Timothy Ryan Glass, 47, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. A family conducted memorial service celebrating Tim’s life was held Monday, April 7 at Church On The Word in Warner, OK.

TULSA – Robert Leroy Riley, 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 1, 2025. A private funeral mass will be held in Tulsa the morning of Friday, April 11, 2025. An open memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. that same day at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.

CHECOTAH – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) Martin Lawrence Sr. on April 2, 2025, at the age of 79. Per Frank’s wishes there will not be any services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

CHECOTAH -Charlcee Roberta Burns, 96, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Happy Paws Foundation, 2282 N. Broadway, Checotah, OK.

STIGLER – Joann Marie Mills, 64, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.

CHECOTAH – Margaret Eaker entered the portals of Heaven, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 80. Services will be held Monday, April 14, at 1p.m. at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home.
