After completing one semester at Oklahoma State University, Jackson Brown answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in 2024, and has now completed his basic military training for the United States Air Force in Texas.
In February 2025, he reported to Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas, where he trained with the 331st Training Squadron “Wolfpack,” Flight 285. During seven and a half weeks of intensive training, Jackson demonstrated exceptional dedication and perseverance, graduating with the rank of Airman First Class (A1C) on April 2.
Immediately following graduation, Jackson traveled to Oxnard, California, where he is now continuing his Air Force journey at Port Hueneme by attending technical school for vehicle maintenance for the next three months.
Jackson has committed to a six-year contract with the Air National Guard and is balancing his service to his country with his academic goals.
Jackson is the son of Chris and Mandy Brown and a 2023 Checotah High School graduate.
“We want to honor our Airman Jackson Brown for his service and congratulate him on this important milestone,” Brown’s family said. “He is focusing on his future and making us and hopefully his CHS Class of 2023 very proud.”
His family, friends, and community are deeply proud of his achievements and unwavering commitment to both his future and his nation and wish him the very best in his future endeavors in the military.
