Richards/McCarty race to honors

What an unbelievable weekend in Nashville, TN.

Reed Richards age 8, from Roland, OK. and Luke McCarty age 8, from Eufaula, OK. were selected to ride in the KTM Junior Supercross at the Nissan Staduim in Nashville, TN on April 11th, 2026.

The KTM Junior Program selects 15 riders, ages 7 through 8 from all over the U.S. Participants must have at least 2 years prior racing experience, meet specific height and weight requirements, and maintain above-average grades. Participate in the KTM Junior Supercross race during intermission on Saturday night’s main event. Only (2) Oklahoma riders were selected, the others selected from different states and one selected from Australia.

Watching Reed and Luke’s experience, the KTM Junior Supercross was something we will never be able to put into words. They were treated like a KTM factory rider from the moment they got there — hanging with the pros, getting high fives, cheers from thousands of fans everywhere they went, who genuinely love seeing these little guys out there giving it everything they’ve got. They both met and received signed autographs from their favorite pro riders; Eli Tomac, Ken Roczon and Colt Nichols along with many other pro riders.

Both boys had “their own” KTM Junior Supercross autograph table, while many fans waited in their line to get their autographs. Just like the KTM factor riders.

Reed and friend Luke McCarty lined up on one of the biggest stages either of them has ever seen. For them to race on a pro supercross track in front of 50,000 fans and neither one of them flinched, tells you everything about who these two Oklahoma boys are.
